OOTD : on the edge

Do you want to look cool while wearing dress? hmmm no worries! that can be achieved by wearing boots. Dresses are always associated with being too girly girl and feminine and are always paired with stilettos or strappy sandals. Don't ever limit yourself dear and take the plunge, do pairings of a dress and boots for an edgy and youthful vibe.

OOTD : hands down to houndstooth

Things and trends do really come and go, houndstooth print is just one concrete example. The houndstooth print is back in the lime light and everyone wants a piece of it. Most of the online sites I visited have items with this print which are sold out or best sellers. Love and Bravery and Femmex are some of the online shops in Singapore that sells items with hounstooth prints. Houndstooth print is one of the most classic prints I'll never get tired of seeing, I just love it and will forever love it.

OOTD : different kind of love

Dresses should be part of every girls' closet as it can be used in so many ways:  wear it as it is, use it as skirt or use it as a top. Remember depending on the occasion or the purpose you can either dress up or dress down. Lately I've been loving and wearing shirt and dress combo which I can say is a different kind of love (hahaha!). Here is another take, I made sure to look casual as I will be going for a Sunday mass. I achieved the casual look by wearing a shirt on top of the dress and pairing it with flat shoes.

Weekend Flea Market in Somerset

On the last Sunday of October I had a chance to visit flea market in Somerset. Flea markets are great venues for entrepreneurs, artists and bargain hunters. I love visiting flea markets as there are so many great finds that are within my budget. I was able to spot a very chic bag on one of the stalls which made my heart to skip a beat because its full of studs hehehe.

Here are some of the photos taken on that flea market.
Do you love visiting flea markets as well?

OOTD : back to basics

There are days when you ran out of ideas on what to wear so the best way to solve the problem is to go back to basics. Going back to basics does not mean you have to be boring or too plain. I paired a gray t-shirt and denim jeans but I added a plaid long sleeve to give it a kick and life. Here is the outfit I wore when I watched Thor last 3rd Nov with my friends.

Caffe Bene in Seoul

On our 4th day in Seoul it rained like anything hence we could not continue on our touristy adventures. We stayed indoors and had a chance to rest and relax in a coffee shop. Caffe Bene is one of the popular and big franchised coffee shops in Seoul its like Seoulites own version of Coffee Bean or Starbucks.

We ordered choco-banana waffle and two coffee mocha. Too bad the whip cream on top of the waffle melted and it looks like a waffle covered in melted marshmallow but i still can't help to take pictures of it #fortheloveofinstagram. When I think of Caffe Bene what comes to my mind is waffles and patbingsu, I really wanted to try their patbingsu as its too pretty as seen on other instagram photos but then again its raining and the weather is so cold so I decided not to have it #regrets. Another thing to love about Caffe Bene is that they offer free internet usage, they have two Mac computers on the shop we visited near Coex mall.

Lime Tree Cafe in Seoul

Seoul is not just home for our KPOP idols but its the home for super duper cute coffee shops and cafes. There are tons of cafes in Seoul and you can find them literally everywhere, too bad I did not have a chance to visit many shops. It was my first time in Seoul hence I visited the tourist spots which means I spent my day mostly roaming around instead of staying indoors. On my next trip in Seoul I'll make sure to visit as many cutesy and artsy cafes. Anyhow, enough of the sad story sharing with you one of the few coffee experience I had.

Lime Tree is a small two-story cafe near Anguk station with cutesy interior and warm ambiance. It became a shelter for me on that rainy morning in Seoul. The caffe mocha and the warm ambiance made me feel safe.

Seoulites love their coffee so much that these non-franchised cafes can survived in the market as well. The unique cafes in Seoul is a great testimony that anyone who loves what he does can be successful without being dictated by the society, there is so much freedom in Seoul to express your artsy side and creativity.
